Connected fridges: an innovative solution to facilitate everyday life for employees

The "Frais Dedans” catering solution gives employees access to a selection of tasty, home-cooked recipes made with fresh products. Guests just present their badge and choose their dishes directly out of the fridge. The system automatically recognizes the dishes selected for consumption. A quick and easy way to have lunch, just like at home! This new take-out solution has also been adapted to the current sanitary context, whereby employees can leave work in the evening with a take-out meal, which is particularly practical for those working from home the next day.
Every day, Ansamble’s kitchen teams prepare a selection of starters, main courses and desserts. For example:
- Starters: Sweet potato hummus in coconut milk / Tzatziki-style white radish
- Main courses: Sea bass fillet with leek fondue / Vegetarian moussaka
- Desserts: Rice pudding / Apple tatin tart served in a glass container with creamy soft cheese (fromage blanc)
The Ansamble teams are also committed to reducing the amount of disposable packaging; the objective being to achieve zero waste. All dishes are presented in reusable glass jars, which best preserve the flavor of the recipes. Once finished, guests return their used jars to a trolley provided for this purpose. As the fridges can hold up to 120 dishes, this system saves 120 containers from ending up in the trash every day!
